Let's go to 1st Peter chapter 2, verse 9. There are some verses that we all know, but they are really powerful verses that have an important lesson to our life. Verse 2, chapter 2, verse 9. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness in His wonderful life. Holy nation. I like that. holy nation. this is not a romantic idea in the atmosphere. they're just not just beautiful words that the Apostle uses. this is what the Apostle is repeating because it's God's desire that was expressed back in the Deuteronomy. chapter 7 verse 6 and 7. for you are a people holy to the Lord your God. for you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Remember that the word holy means set apart. The word holy gives us the characteristics of the people. Despite that human race, we all are equal. Our skin might change, the tone of our skin might change, or the color of our eyes might change, the height, the language, but in essence, we all are equal.…
