Preach June 23, 2024

I'm gonna try to be efficient and share this word from God. I was listening to Steven Lawson and it caught my attention something that he said. He said that pastors were lied to when they told them that people have a small capacity to retain attention. But evidence shows that most of us can stand in front of TV for more than three hours. Or in a theater. Or in a soccer game. So Sunday we're waiting for the fast message that could give us a poem in our backs and tells us you're doing it good, just go home. But what we see in scripture is very different than the things that the Word is telling us. So we need to take time, be calm, be patient in our hearts to wait for God to speak and put a seed. In the book of Exodus when Moses climbs the mountain to see God, look at this experience. He climbed the mountain to have an encounter with God. And God waited for seven days in silence before he was ready to talk to him. For us who want everything so fast, it's very difficult. For us who microwave takes…
